Description:

This Red Cross Standard First Aid Course combines an online self-study course with a one-day skills workshop.  The Online Self-Study Package allows the Participant to learn First Aid Theory at their own pace and the skills workshop applies the theory in a way that is practical, safe, and effective.

 

NOTE: THIS COURSE IS EQUIVALENT TO THE 2 DAY STANDARD FIRST AID CERTIFICATION

SELF-PACED LEARNING

The participant may enter and exit the online course at their leisure, the course will continue where they left off.

 

CONVENIENCE

This course can be completed on a PC, MAC and iPad. It can be done at the workplace, at home , or wherever you're most comfortable.  Once the Online Self-Study is completed, the one-day skills course can be completed anytime within the next 6 weeks.  These courses are scheduled at your convenience.

 

SUPPORT

This Online Self-Study include online chat (Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm AST) and Email support.  Voice-over that reads the text for you.  Printable documents and a Glossary are included. Our Friendly Staff are always an email away to answer questions and provide support.

 

TIME SAVING

This Blended Learning Course only requires 8 hours of classroom participation (The 2-Day version requires 16 hours!).  Participants need only miss one day of work or the weekend instead of two full days. 

 

COMPREHENSIVE TRAINING

The Online Content is user-friendly, interactive and it thouroughly covers the information so that learners of all levels and abilities will feel confident upon completion.  The One-day Skills Session will allow students to practice the hands-on components.
